Training Information
Staff Training at Camp Peniel is about more than preparing for summer camp, it's about growing in faith as well as acquiring knowledge and skills for life.
As a result, we provide training in theology, teamwork, leadership, conflict resolution, adventure skills and many other areas that relate to life at camp and everywhere else.
2010 SHIFT (Leadership Development Program)
July 2-4, 2010 (Friday - Sunday)
* for senior cabin leaders, section heads and kitchen staff
2010 ROOTS (Staff Training Program)
July 4-9, 2010 (Sunday - Friday)
* all staff are required to attend
We have made a big effort to supplement training costs and keep fees to a minimum. As a result, new staff only pay a total fee of $150 while returning staff only pay a total fee of $50 (a need-based scholarship fund is available for those who are not able to cover this cost). These fees cover training, housing, food, your binder, a book and your staff shirt.
